The land was less than five miles from a fort that was almost completed. With tensions on the rise, a conflict was inevitable until the day when the native Americans could tolerate no more and attacked the fort in retaliation for a massacre at one of their villages. In this unprovoked assault the chief and his son were fatally wounded to which the shaman calls upon the powers of nature and invoked a forbidden ritual to resurrect those lost in battle to continue fighting. What he had failed to conclude about this act and why it was prohibited by the ancient ancestors gave the undead for both sides the will to continue fighting until the end of time. He approached the tower and knocked on the door. The lights at the windows blinked. No, the windows blinked. They weren’t windows at all, but enormous eyes. The door opened revealing two rows of jagged teeth and a massive, black tongue.
